Dr Mariusz Nowostawski teaches TELE and INFO papers in the area of networking and network security on 300 and 400-levels. His research interests cover a number of fields, including mobile technologies and ubiquitous computing, high-performance networking, multicore technology, evolutionary and artificial life systems, theory of computation and research on biologically inspired computing architectures. He has finished his PhD thesis on Evolvable Virtual Machines (December 2008).
Dr Nowostawski is involved in multi-disciplinary studies into Aging and Well-being in collaboration with Psychology Department of University of Otago, and multi-agent simulation studies with the Department of Microbiology.
