Conferences organised by the Department

Each year the Department is involved in the organisation and administration of at least one major conference.

Postgraduate students are often involved in presenting papers at conferences run by the department. This provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills to the international research community, meet potential employers, and exchange ideas with other researchers. In some instances, funding is provided by the department for students to attend conferences upon recommendation from the Head of Department.
